Role Overview
In the role as the Accountant, you will be responsible for all the accounting matters for all the assigned entities under the SRE group. The role will be based in Taipei, Taiwan.
Key Responsibilities
- To support Project related accounting and tax activities.
- Manage periodic closing of management accounts, ensuring the integrity of accounting information.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other internal and external financial reports.
- Aid in evaluating short-term cash flow forecasts.
- Facilitate annual audits, statutory accounting, and tax filings.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting systems and procedures.
- Address ad-hoc requests related to accounting and tax matters.

- Experience solving issues as they arise and dealing with multiple variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, of which 3 years in house mandatory.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills with a good command of verbal and written English mandatory.
- Competency with ERP system (SAP or Oracle) is required.
- Familiar with IFRS and Taiwan general accounting as well as corporate finance principles and processes
- Prior experience in closing and reporting for multi-location companies on a consolidated basis is preferred.
