Government Affairs Deputy Manager

Summary:

SRE is a leading renewable energy developer in Taiwan, with a pipeline of offshore wind projects across Taiwan and other parts of Asia such as Japan, Korea, Australia, and Philippines. SRE is a portfolio company of a fund managed by Stonepeak, a US-based infrastructure fund with regional headquarter in Hong Kong.

Scope Description:

As a key member of the Synera Renewable Energy team, your role will encompass the following:

• Communicate with government, especially central government and stakeholders to delivery SRE message, promote SRE.
• Government affairs management, conduct research and monitor legislation especially in renewable energy field.
• Track government issue that could affect policies. Proactively research policies to figure changes and industry trend.
• Collect information of policy of government or any revised of relevant regulation and law.
• Collect global and Taiwan information of development of renewable.
• Attend relevant association conference and summarize the information to report to management team.
• Join all of relevant activity including but not limit explanation of regulation and law
• Through relevant association to get more industrial information and requirement then make suggestions on government policy.
• Project related government reporting works including project progress reports, meetings and localiston progress reports, meetings.
• Coordination internally/externally on localization strategy/communication and supply chain management.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 4 years working experience in government or its related units; government affairs role in green energy industry.
• Excellent writing/communication skills in Chinese and English
• Familiar with media outlets and platforms
• Ability to solve problems, strong public speaking skills
