Scope Description:

As Interface & Change Associate, you will support the project's Interface and Change Management processes across the offshore wind project, working under the guidance of the Interface & Change Manager. The role helps maintain interface registers, track change requests, and coordinate the flow of information between contractors, packages, and stakeholders. The position supports coherent, compliant project execution by providing day-to-day interface and change management support to engineering, construction, commissioning, and project controls teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the project's interface registers, responsibility matrices, and interface agreements under the guidance of the Interface & Change Manager
  • Support the coordination of technical and contractual interfaces across engineering, fabrication, installation, and commissioning packages, tracking open items and following up on outstanding actions
  • Assist in organizing and minute-taking for interface coordination meetings and workshops, ensuring actions are logged and tracked to closure
  • Support the administration of the project's Change Management process, including logging change requests, tracking status, and maintaining change registers
  • Assist in assessing the impact of design and scope changes on interfaces, schedule, and cost, under the direction of the Interface & Change Manager
  • Prepare draft interface and change status reports and dashboards for review by the Interface & Change Manager and project management
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to collect interface and change information and ensure documentation is complete and up to date
  • Support the Interface & Change Manager in promoting a proactive interface and change culture, including capturing and sharing lessons learned

Qualifications:

  • At a minimum, a Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
  • At a minimum, 2-4 years of relevant experience in interface management, change management, or project controls/engineering support, preferably on large infrastructure or energy projects; experience in offshore wind is a plus
  • Basic understanding of the offshore wind project lifecycle (FEED, detailed engineering, fabrication, installation, and commissioning) is an advantage
  • Familiarity with interface management systems and tools
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and an innovative mindset, but also the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Goal orientated, balancing task, team and individual needs to achieve the right outcome
  • Considerable experience working in project teams focused on complex, mixed stakeholder environments, high value projects, including with multiple EPC contractors. Plus, if experience in the renewable energy or offshore wind industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills (communication, motivation, persuasion), proactive and capable of reaching out to different stakeholders
  • Drive, enthusiasm, initiative and a willingness to learn and develop within the role
  • Methodical and organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Working proficiency in English is required; Mandarin/Chinese language skills are a plus
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are an advantage
