Job Description:

As Interface & Change Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the project's Interface and Change Management processes across the project. The role ensures that technical and contractual interfaces between contractors, packages, and stakeholders are proactively identified and managed, and that the impact of scope, design, and schedule changes is properly assessed, documented, and communicated. The position supports coherent, compliant project execution by coordinating closely with engineering, construction, commissioning, and project controls teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project's Interface Management process, including interface registers, responsibility matrices, and interface agreements between contractors, packages, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate technical and contractual interfaces across engineering, fabrication, installation, and commissioning packages, ensuring timely identification and resolution of interface issues
  • Act as the project's focal point for interface coordination between EPC contractors, suppliers, certification bodies, and other stakeholders
  • Facilitate interface coordination meetings and workshops, tracking actions and escalating unresolved issues as required
  • Develop and maintain the project's Change Management process, ensuring scope, cost, and schedule impacts of changes are properly assessed, documented, and approved
  • Evaluate the impact of design and scope changes on interfaces, schedule, and cost, and ensure changes are communicated effectively across stakeholders
  • Support project governance by preparing interface and change status reports for project management and steering committees
  • Promote a proactive interface and change culture, ensuring lessons learned are captured and applied across the project

Qualifications:

  • At a minimum, 5-8 years of relevant experience in interface management, change management, or project controls on large, multi-contractor infrastructure or energy projects; experience in offshore wind or offshore oil and gas is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering interfaces and the offshore wind project lifecycle (FEED, detailed engineering, fabrication, installation, and commissioning)
  • Familiarity with interface management systems and tools
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and an innovative mindset, but also the ability to work independently and lead on topics
  • Goal orientated, balancing task, team and individual needs to achieve the right outcome
  • Considerable experience working in project teams focused on complex, mixed stakeholder environments, high value projects, including with multiple EPC contractors. Plus, if experience in the renewable energy or offshore wind industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills (communication, motivation, persuasion), proactive and capable of reaching out to different stakeholders
  • Drive, enthusiasm, initiative and a willingness to develop including that of the team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Methodical and organized, a good facilitator and mediator able to resolve conflict
  • Working proficiency in English is required; Mandarin/Chinese language skills are a plus
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are an advantage
