We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated investment professionals to join our dynamic team to grow our development pipeline and contribute to the success of our offshore wind development projects. 

Scope Description:

As a member of the SRE Investments team, your role will encompass the following:

• Support financial planning and commercial analysis of offshore wind projects in various stages of development (from new investment opportunities to development of existing projects to late stage development)
• Build, develop and maintain detailed financial models to undertake complex quantitative assessments of project viability, returns, and potential risks of opportunities
• Work closely with development, technical and regulatory teams to monitor and update project economics as key contracts (turbine supply, foundations, cable, EPC/EPCI, O&M, offtake) are negotiated and finalised
• Support project development from a financing and bankability perspective, identifying risk allocation issues and ensuring alignment between project contracts and lender requirements
• Conduct complex sensitivity analyses and scenario planning to support decision-making processes across investment proposals, project development and project financing processes
• Prepare investment papers and presentations for Shareholders, Board and Senior Management and manage all relevant stakeholders
• Manage discrete workstreams external due diligence advisors and consultants and oversee preparation of due diligence reports and ad-hoc analyses
• Assist in coordinating activities between investments team, project team, advisors and other stakeholders
• Supervise and develop junior team members, providing guidance on financial modelling, analysis and project finance processes
• Any other duties as required in line with the scope of the role.

Qualifications:

• Years of Experience: 4-7 years+ in project finance, infrastructure finance, investment banking or a related field; direct experience on renewable energy or offshore wind transactions in Asia is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. Preference for MBA or masters equivalent, or Chartered Accountant, CPA or CFA designation.
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools (specifically valuation methodologies)
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail, good work ethic and a team player
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in Mandarin is strongly preferred; Japanese or Korean is a plus.
