We are seeking a Senior Manager Investments to support the delivery of Formosa 6 ("F6"), SRE's flagship Taiwan offshore wind project. Reporting to the F6 Project Finance Director, this role is a core execution-level position within the Investments team, responsible for driving key workstreams across project finance, financial modelling, lender due diligence and investment governance through to financial close.

 

Scope Description:

As a member of the SRE Investments team, your role will encompass the following:

  • Support the end-to-end project finance process for F6, including preparation of lender materials, management of due diligence workstreams and coordination of advisors (financial, legal, technical, insurance, model audit).
  • Assist in the negotiation of term sheets, facility agreements and intercreditor arrangements; maintain a detailed issues log and track resolution of lender queries and outstanding items through to financial close.
  • Coordinate ECA engagement processes, including preparation of information submissions, tracking of credit approval timelines and management of ECA-specific due diligence requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain lender-facing materials including information memoranda, management presentations, Q&A schedules and financial model commentary.
  • Own and maintain the F6 project finance financial model, ensuring accuracy, version control and alignment with investment committee and lender/bank case requirements.
  • Run sensitivity analyses, scenario planning, debt sizing and DSCR sculpting to support capital structure decisions and respond to lender model queries.
  • Support preparation of investment papers and financial summaries for internal investment committees, Board and senior management, translating model outputs into clear, concise commercial insights.
  • Monitor and update project economics as key contracts (turbine supply, foundations, cable, EPC/EPCI, O&M, offtake) are negotiated and finalised; flag impacts on returns, debt sizing and bankability
  • Support contract review from a financing and bankability perspective, identifying risk allocation issues and ensuring alignment between project contracts and lender requirements.
  • Assist in preparing investment governance materials for Investment Committee, Steering Committee and Board approvals; manage document version control and approval tracking.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities across the investments team, project teams and external advisors; manage workplan timelines and flag scheduling risks
  • Supervise and develop Manager/Executive-level team members, providing guidance on financial modelling, analysis and project finance processes.
  • Any other duties as required in line with the scope of the role.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 6–10 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, investment banking or a related field; direct experience on renewable energy or offshore wind transactions in Asia is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a related discipline; MBA, CFA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Solid working knowledge of project finance structures, documentation and lender due diligence processes; hands-on experience with ECA-backed financings is a plus.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, including project finance model build and maintenance, debt sculpting, DSCR analysis and sensitivity analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously under time pressure.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear written materials for senior management and lenders.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive work ethic; comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in Mandarin is strongly preferred; Japanese or Korean is a plus.
