Scope Description:

As Lead Planner, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining the project's master schedule across all phases of the project, from engineering and procurement through fabrication, installation, and commissioning. The role ensures schedule integrity, interface alignment, and clear visibility of critical path, risks, and recovery options to the project leadership team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, integrate, and maintain the project's master schedule, incorporating engineering, procurement, fabrication, marine logistics, installation, and commissioning activities across all work packages
  • Lead the development of baseline schedules and manage schedule change control, ensuring changes are properly assessed, approved, and incorporated
  • Provide senior planning guidance and mentorship to site planners and junior planning staff, ensuring consistency of planning methodology across the project
  • Consolidate and validate schedule inputs from contractors, EPC packages, and internal teams into a single integrated master schedule
  • Perform critical path analysis, float analysis, and schedule risk analysis to identify constraints, interface risks, and potential delays across the project
  • Prepare senior management and stakeholder reporting, including progress curves, milestone trend analysis, critical path narratives, and what-if scenarios
  • Support project controls in cost-schedule integration, earned value analysis, and contingency drawdown reviews
  • Lead schedule reviews and workshops with contractors, EPC partners, and internal stakeholders, driving alignment on sequencing and recovery plans
  • Support claims, delay analysis, and time impact assessments as required, maintaining robust planning records and supporting evidence
  • Promote a strong HSE culture, ensuring schedules reflect safe and realistic execution sequencing

Qualifications:

  • At a minimum, 8-10 years of relevant experience in project planning or project controls within offshore wind, offshore oil and gas, heavy fabrication, EPC, marine construction, power transmission, or large industrial projects, including experience integrating multi-contractor master schedules
  • Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project is required; experience with schedule risk analysis tools (e.g. Safran Risk) is a plus
  • Proven experience developing and defending baseline schedules, critical path analysis, and recovery planning on complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior planners is preferred
  • Experience in Taiwan or APAC and in multicultural project environments is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of change control, earned value management, and delay/claims analysis
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex schedule information clearly to senior management
  • Working proficiency in English is required; Mandarin/Chinese language skills are a plus
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are an advantage
