Project Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• To support Project related accounting and tax activities.
• Manage periodic closing of management accounts, ensuring the integrity of accounting information.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other internal and external financial reports.
• Aid in evaluating short-term cash flow forecasts.
• Facilitate annual audits, statutory accounting, and tax filings.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting systems and procedures.
• Address ad-hoc requests related to accounting and tax matters.

• Experience solving issues as they arise and dealing with multiple variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, of which 3 years in house mandatory.
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills with a good command of verbal and written English mandatory.
• Competency with ERP system (SAP or Oracle) is required.
• Familiar with IFRS and Taiwan general accounting as well as corporate finance principles and processes
• Prior experience in closing and reporting for multi-location companies on a consolidated basis is preferred.
