We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing management accounts, reviewing inter-company transactions, supporting statutory audit processes, assisting in the preparation of annual consolidation reports and local financial filings, and supporting in cash, capital management and group restructuring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage group reporting, including consolidated financial statements review and prepare shareholders’ reports.
- Review inter-company transactions, perform reconciliations, ensure proper documentation, and process elimination entries.
- Review monthly and quarterly management accounts with analysis and commentary.
- Review up-to-date bookkeeping records including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings to ensure accuracy.
- Support and lead the accountant in the annual consolidation process for the UK parent company, including adjustments, eliminations, and reporting packages.
- Lead statutory audits with the accountants of offshore companies, working closely with auditors to provide required documentation and analysis.
- Supervise the accountant in liaising with local statutory filings to ensure compliance with offshore regulatory requirements.
- Review inter-company revenue between service companies and project companies.
- Participate in restructuring and investments projects, including but not limited to due diligence, related financial reporting impact, etc.
- Assist the Financial Controller with platform capital injection and cash management, ensuring efficient handling of financial resources.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal controls, processes, and reporting systems.
- Participate in ERP system implementation.
- Perform ad hoc financial tasks and assignments as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is preferred.
- Minimum of ten years of relevant accounting experience, with at least five years in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS and Taiwan EAS), consolidations, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in closing and reporting for multi-location companies on a consolidated basis.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with fluency in spoken and written English.
- Over five years of experience working at a Big 4 firm is preferred.
- Experience in ERP system implementation is preferred.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle) and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
