Role Overview


Synera Renewable Energy (“SRE”) is a leading renewable energy developer in Taiwan, with a pipeline of offshore wind projects across Taiwan and other parts of Asia, such as Japan and Korea. SRE is a portfolio company of a fund managed by Stonepeak, a US-based infrastructure fund with regional headquarters in Hong Kong.


In the role of Treasury Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting all treasury-related matters for the entities under the SRE Group. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can execute core operations with high accuracy while remaining flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, quick-changing environment. This role is based in Taipei, Taiwan.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Treasury Operations: Support routine treasury operations, including payment processing, voucher documentation, filing, and bank account reconciliations.
  • Banking & Relationship Management: Assist in maintaining relationships with financial institutions. Manage the bank account opening/closing process, signatory/administrator maintenance, and oversee bank online portal administration.
  • Compliance & KYC: Coordinate and prepare documentation for periodic KYC requests, ensuring all banking requirements are met promptly.
  • FX & Fund Allocation: Process foreign exchange (FX) transactions and execute foreign currency fund allocations to support group liquidity.
  • Cash Management: Drive initiatives to improve cashier operational efficiency and assist with the setup and maintenance of the treasury/accounting system.
  • Capital Management: Manage fund allocations, including the administrative processing of corporate revolving facility drawdowns, repayments, and renewals.
  • Project Support: Provide dedicated treasury support for Project-level matters as required to ensure smooth project execution.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related discipline is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within the banking industry or an in-house corporate treasury team.
  • Language Skills: Fluent command of verbal and written English and Chinese is mandatory. (Additional proficiency in Korean is a plus).
  • Adaptability: Proven flexibility to work effectively in a quick-changing environment; must have a strong learning ability and the capacity to handle multi-tasking and ad-hoc requests under tight deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: High competency with MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Cross-Border Expertise: Prior exposure to cross-border transactions and international fund flows is strongly preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail, a proactive team player, and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in the energy sector is a plus.
