Summary:
In the role as Wind Turbine Package Manager, you will be responsible for Package management, including procurement, design, manufacturing, T&I and commissioning.
The role is expected to develop as the relevant projects go trough early-, and later stages of development and into execution. First focus will be more on concept development, planning and procurement, whereas later focus will be on timely delivery of the package.
Scope Description:
As a key member of the Synera Renewable Energy team, your role will encompass the following:

Manage activities of the WTG package of offshore wind farms through all project phases.

Manage and lead a team of dedicated engineers.

Help prepare Employers Requirements and Specifications in support of procurement activities.

Negotiate and assist with securing key contracts for the Project (including Turbine Agreements, Consultancy Agreement, Transport, and Installation Agreements etc.)

Assess and evaluate suppliers' proposals for relevant scopes and sub-scopes within the package (Turbines, vessels, consultancy services etc.)

Manage the Package from a commercial and contractual side, including input to commercial, legal, insurance, warranty, and financial items.

Lead contract negotiations and contract management functions in close collaborations with the commercial and legal management functions

Manage WTG interfaces with other packages, functions, and suppliers.

Manage WTG suppliers and other relevant contractors during the design, manufacturing, transport, installation, and commissioning phases of the WTGs.

Manage and handle potential VO’s and or claims during project execution.

Manage and help ensure reporting and provide decision support for Project Director, Executive Management and/or Steering committee.

Ensure Suppliers and other contractors fulfil their commitment’s.

Ensure inspections and checks are performed when deemed necessary.

Ensure outstanding HSE performance – HSE is always a top priority.

Manage and ensure a solid and well documented Take Over process from Contractors – incl potential snag rectification etc.

Ensure a smooth Hand Over process to operations.

Lead and manage a dedicated team, including suppliers, contractors and other project stakeholders for any topics which relate to the WTGs.

Ensure that appropriate actions are taken in due time to ensure the success of the Project.

Present and provide feedback to wider project team on progress within the WTG package.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a similar field of study.

5+ years of professional experience in offshore wind or relevant industry,
-
10+ years in management of large and complex technical projects. Experience with WTG’s is preferred.

Proven track record, training or qualification in Project Management is seen as an advantage for the role.

Excellent English business language skills, suitable for technical discussions and contractual negotiations.

Basic understanding of Contractual Agreement principles e.g. EPC, Supply, Service and similar types of contract is seen as an advantage.

Knowledge of PMI principles or preferably PMP certified, but not a requirement.

Strong communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary and international teams.

Maintain the overview and stay calm under pressure in challenging situations.

Good leadership and human interaction skills.

Good knowledge of MS Office systems and other software platforms commonly used in the industry.

Proactive interest in, and identification with the renewable energy industry.
-
Knowledge of Mandarin is desirable but not a requirement.
